Welcome To The Children’s Dental Health Clinic
The Children’s Dental Health Clinic is a non-profit comprehensive dental home and teaching program housed on the campus of the Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital with a Long Beach Unified School District school-based clinic on Santa Catalina Island.
We are the safety-net oral health provider for underserved and medically compromised children and young adults (aged 0-21) in the greater Long Beach and South Bay communities. Our team serves approximately 5,500 patients each year.
Early Intervention Program
Our Main Clinic is home to our Early Intervention Program, the entry point to comprehensive oral health care for children ages 0-5.
It’s a fun and engaging way for parents and kids to prevent cavities, learn about healthy habits, and reduce children’s fear of the dentist.
Multi-specialty Treatment
Comprehensive dental services for children and young adults 0-21 that include pediatric dentistry, general dentistry, specialty care (treatments under oral sedation, intravenous (IV) sedation, and general anesthesia), endodontics, periodontics, and oral surgery. We welcome children with special needs and complex medical considerations.
Orthodontics Clinic
Our Main Clinic offers comprehensive orthodontic treatment (braces and Invisalign). We treat routine to complex cases, including those with cranio-facial/cleft palate development challenges.
Premier Training Program
We are accredited premier training facility for multi-dental specialties. In partnership with the University of Southern California (USC) we provide resident training for Pediatric Dentists and Oral Surgeons. In partnership with Cerritos College and West Coast University we serve as a training site for Registered Dental Hygienists and Registered Dental Assistants.
